Blind Mississippi Morris

Our first session features harmonica master and vocalist Blind Mississippi Morris—a lifetime spent on Beale Street translating the Delta blues through his own deeply personal lens.

Born in Clarksdale, blind since childhood, Morris doesn’t just play the tradition. He is the tradition, alive and breathing and absolutely now.

Morris has been a Beale street staple since the 1970’s, becoming a cornerstone to our Blues community in his own right, while simultaneously working with the likes of Bobby “Blue” Bland and The Rolling Stones.
